Moving from Japan to Shanghai via Air Freight = March 2026
Review of Neptune Movers in , China
I’ve finally made up my mind to move back to China! As soon as the new policies were announced, I immediately decided to move back home. Moving back isn’t hard—the hard part is the actual move. I wanted to bring back everything I’m used to: clothes, cosmetics, shoes, miscellaneous items, bedding, small appliances, and more. I searched for moving companies on Rednote and various search engines, and ultimately chose “Seapoe Worldwide Relocation.” I contacted their customer service through Rednote . The customer service representative recommended either air or sea freight based on the volume and type of my belongings, advised me on the appropriate size of packing boxes, and guided me through creating a personal effects declaration list. They confirmed my return date and arranged for a pickup at my home three or four days in advance. They also walked me through the customs declaration process upon arrival—things I had no idea how to handle on my own. Having professionals guide me step by step made the whole process incredibly hassle-free. Once the goods arrived at their warehouse, they inspected the condition of the boxes and verified the weight. If they noticed any minor wear or structural weaknesses, they would replace the boxes with new ones, reinforce them, and then deliver them to my home. The service was thorough and reliable. The above is simply a sharing of my personal moving experience, and I hope it proves useful to fellow Chinese expats in Japan who may need it.
