When I first reached out to this company, I had one requirement: The movers must be at my new location for the move in on Oct 1st. I was told the only way for them to accommodate this request was to get a private van. I paid extra for the private van and they again assured me that they would be able to do a move out on Sept 30 in BC, and a move in on Oct 1 at 1:30pm in AB. In our communications I made a point to say again and again the 1:30 time is critical and I was assured that it was fine. On Oct 1st I got a text message saying they were no longer able to be at the apartment for 1:30pm, and said it was because of safety reason. First they said the driver fell asleep, and then they said there was engine trouble, and then they said due to commercial driving regulations, they were not able to meet the 1:30pm arrival time. So they either mislead me when they promised me that they could have the truck there for 1:30pm, knowing full well that is against regulations. Or they expected their drivers to break regulations and the one driver decided his safety was more important. Or they used my private truck to do other moves after my move out and they ran out of driving hours. All of which is poor practice and in bad faith. I would not use this company.
