Agreed to and paid $7,350 for transportation of our household goods from Los Angeles (their warehouse that we delivered pur items to) to our home in Dangriga Town, Belize. Two weeks in, they called us saying that US customs wants $2000 for inspection. We did not have the money immediately, so they quickly downloaded and uploaded our stuff and shifted it aroind at their discretion and then claimed that our new cost is $6,350 to release our household goods (plus a $5,000 deposit). We are a poor family with 13 children and we don't have $13,000 in our bank account to give them on top of the already paid $7,350. We asked them kindly to just mive it to a local storage near them (although we paid for a move to Belize) but they said they would not release our things but auction them off instead. Our things include very sentimental items such as my deceased father's paintings, my mother's artwork and our own musical instruments. The company showed no regard for our pleas to them and will not help us in anyway receive our household goods. We are still flabbergasted at the callousness of this company who takes so much (to us everything) and gives so little (nothing).
