I relocated to Tokyo in June 2012. Prior to that Nippon Express' local office representative attended to my move. He was attentive to my needs. I was required to provide a list of items to be moved and their estimated prices. I did so in an Excel spreadsheet but was told that I have to copy each item onto the form provided by Nippon Express. I felt that that was extremely inefficient and environmentally unfriendly. Nippon Express should think of ways to streamline the administrative tasks involved. Although Nippon Express offered to pack my effects, I decided to do so myself. The move itself was efficient.
