My move from Thailand to Canada = December 2021
Review of Allied Moving Services (Thailand) in Bangkok, Thailand
We were planning for our relocation from Thailand back to Canada in early 2021; due to COVID, the moving costs were the highest they're ever been and the availability of a shipping slot was not guaranteed, needless to say we were very apprehensive about our chances of relocating & receiving our household goods in a timely manner with our relocation to Canada planned for the end of September 2021. Guy, the Allied manager scheduled a home visit to estimate the cubic square meter of our goods/cost for the move. Guy gave us his honest opinion on the current COVID situation and routing options for us to decide on (luckily we did not pick the LAX port!). A later date was scheduled for the packing of our goods which eventually went smoothly with their staff maximizing each loaded box to minimize the final volume & communicating constantly on how the packing was progressing. The final volume & price were almost exactly what was initially given as an estimate and Allied through the perseverance of Guy managed to find an open shipping slot a day later than our departure flight; what a relief. With the numerous updates provided by their local Canadian representative, we eventually received our shipment approx 2 1/2 months after our arrival into Canada despite the port congestions, worldwide manpower shortages & logistic problems. Our items were handled/delivered damaged free by their local representatives in Ontario All in all, despite all the obstacles caused by COVID, my sincere appreciation for Guy's efforts in making this huge relocation as painless as possible, a very professional company, efficient and customer oriented, highly recommended for anyone planning to relocate out of Thailand
