Shipped our stuff from Germany to USA = October 2016

Review of EOS Move Management GmbH & Co. KG in Darmstadt, Germany

Our move only included the shipping of our container from South Germany to MidWest USA. We packed/loaded and unpacked/unloaded our self, to keep things cheap, and price wise they were the best. We had the entire weekend to pack (which was desperately needed, working late into the night each day) for an extra 300 EUR. Would recommend it if you are loading yourself. We had everything packed up and ready to be loaded before the container came, but it truly took the entire weekend. Container arrived 2 hours early, which was to our advantage. We were given a packing list to fill out and ongoing numbered stickers for customs. That was very helpful. The container was picked up right on time to start its long trip. Took 6 weeks. I felt the quality and friendliness of the co-ordinator in Germany got very week towards the end, since his part of the job was done. The co-ordinator in USA was nice, but also hard to work with and understand sometimes. I got VERY short notice when to expect the container to arrive at our house, so I hurried up getting some helping hands together for the next day but ended up getting a call in the evening saying it wouldn't be derived until the following Tuesday after all. That was upsetting. We only had two hours to unload the container, and the driver took up 45 mins of it just trying to get into the driveway, which really could have gone much faster if he had been a bit more experienced. But thanks to my awesome family helping us unload and lots of pre organizing, we did made it in the given time. I do have to add, that they did a great job of declaring our stuff, since we had some merchandise mixed into our personal belongings, and decorative "weapons". All in all, I am glad we went with this company, and that everything went well, I do recommend them! They are professional, and get the job done well! Thank you!
